The overall objective of this project is to provide early- to mid-career African professionals and researchers learning opportunities to enhance their capabilities for advancing climate change adaptation in Africa.

The other program is the African Climate Change Fellowship Program on Climate Change Adaptation, also funded by IDRC, which would help to develop indigenous capacity in Africa for advancing and applying scientific knowledge for climate change adoption.
